A blend of Sangiovese fruit sourced from various points in Tuscany- Chianti Classico, Maremma and Bolgheri with other red grapes, this wine is a testament of the various levels of dry extract and ripeness that can be achieved with Sangiovese depending on where it is planted. It is ruby red in color with intense aromas of cherries, mint, and particularly, chocolate. On the palate the wine is ample in body, supple and with velvety and soft tannins, long and savory.
